Maui teens impress by showing concern for others

I don’t care what anyone says about today’s teens, many of them are great, caring and make us proud. They will make great future leaders for Hawaii and the U.S.

Students from local high schools did some pretty miraculous stuff recently. They held a relay for life raising money for the fight against cancer and also honoring cancer survivors and their caretakers with music, singing and dinner.

Talking story with these kids was, well, chicken skin.

Mahalo to the students from the following high schools: Molokai, Lanai, Kamehameha, Baldwin, King Kekaulike, Lahainaluna, Maui, Seabury Hall, Saint Anthony and Hana. You are terrific.
