Art Maui should have a far broader perspective

Underwhelming is a polite way to describe the latest Art Maui exhibit.

While I subscribe to the idea that maybe more space between artwork gives it a better environment to be seen, I also believe that when so many artists submit their work, the dedicated viewing public wishes to see a far broader perspective of what has been submitted by Maui artists. I also question how some artists were given more than one place on the wall, while so many were rejected.

Exclusivity does not necessary mean quality, as this current show clearly illustrates.
