Don’t miss streamed opera production
If you were not in the audience at the Maui Mall Megaplex for the Metropolitan Opera’s streamed production of “La Boheme” on April 5, you missed something truly special.
Fortunately, you have one more opportunity to see this wonderfully dramatic and touching work of art at 6:30 p.m. April 9.
These are heavily subsidized by private entities, and are a wonderful peek into the world of opera at a very affordable price.
There will be one more production before the Met season is over, Mozart’s “Cosi Fan Tutte,” and I will be in attendance.
Plans have already been announced for the next season, which begins in October. I can scarcely wait.
