Time for former candidate to let his losses go
“Let any one of you . . . be the first to throw the first stone.”
Here we are in another election year with Alan Fukuyama struggling for political relevance. Let us all not forget Fukuyama’s residency-gate scandal in the last election.
A blatant opportunistic Fukuyama changed his residency for whatever open seat was available. In 2010 it was Lahaina, in 2012 it was Kahului.
Injecting himself into an ethics complaint based off of a Maui News article (June 25) stoops to an all-time Fukuyama low. This will be his legacy for the 2014 election year. It’s time for him to let his losses for elected office go.
The extent of his political involvement should be confined to the voting booth.
