A vote for King is a vote for preserving our environment

I care about our environment so I am voting for South Maui’s Kelly King.

King created Pacific Biodiesel, with her husband, Robert King, about 20 years ago in order to ensure that used cooking oil (french fries, etc.) did not all end up in Maui’s landfills. King is the vice president and marketing director of this company, the first to do biodiesel commercial retail in the country.

For all her accomplishments, King remains humble and hardworking. She believes in community partnerships. Maui residents Willie and Annie Nelson, as well as Daryl Hannah, co-founded the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance with her in 2006.

This nonprofit organization develops best practices standards and verification protocol for sustainable biodiesel practices. Hard Rock Cafe has committed to becoming the premier corporate sponsor for this worthy cause.

Pono prosperity. Let’s do the right thing. I believe a vote for King is a vote for preserving our environment.
