To whom could the pope be directing his comments?
On the front page of the Jan. 7 Maui News we saw two articles — juxtaposed and with no little irony.
One featured Pope Francis, in his Epiphany remarks, calling for the personal resistance to arrogance, as well as to the thirst for power and riches. The other article featured our president, touting his being a “very stable genius” (“like, really smart”) who “made billions and billions of dollars.”
To whom could the pope possibly be directing his comments?
