Students need to examine own roles in shootings
Instead of blaming the NRA, Trump or guns, students might look to their own role in these tragedies. Many of these school shooters were bullied and badly treated in school.
So, I ask the students that walked out: Did you ever bully anyone or allow bullying? Did you ever see anyone sitting alone in the cafeteria and sit with them and try to include them or did you make fun of them? Did you ever go up to a loner in school and try to make friends with them or did you just treat them like an outcast? Did you ever use social media to harm a classmate? Did you ever make fun of or harass a classmate that was different?
You see, in part, you students are responsible for these school shootings since you helped to create the shooter. So, before you blame others you might clean up your own backyard first.
