Tradition should continue with Mauna Kea telescope

The ancient Hawaiians studied the stars and used their knowledge of astronomy to come to the Hawaiian Islands. The Hawaiian astronomical tradition should be continued in Hawaii by building the telescope on Mauna Kea.

It should be named the King Kamehameha Telescope. Great discoveries will be made. The great Hawaiian astronomical tradition will be honored around the world as the reports of these discoveries will be attributed to the King Kamehameha Telescope in Hawaii.
