Headline was biased in favor of Mazie Hirono

President Donald Trump has constantly been calling news agencies fake news, but I’ve always told friends and family that he should be calling them biased news. The Maui News is no exception.

I just saw the Sept. 21 front page article, “Telling men to ‘step up,’ Hirono strides into spotlight” and thought, what a slant.

While watching her on television, I heard her say, ” . . . men should “shut up and step up“when it comes to the Kavanaugh allegations. The Maui News made her look positive while what I saw was a very negative and bitter person. A neutral title could have read, “Hirono strides into spotlight.” Go Google this and watch for yourself and form your own opinion.

What ever happened to, “Innocent until proven guilty?” Hirono sounded like someone in the old Western movies where a mob was about to lynch a person for a crime without due process. That includes blacks who were lynched without due process.

She should be removed from office immediately by voters as she does not represent the Constitution and evidently does not know the laws.

Hirono is pulling too much to the Democratic left along with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Maxine Waters. She is no Daniel Inouye or Daniel Akaka. Hawaii’s Democratic Party is being hijacked by the liberal West Coast Democrats.
