Enjoyed your article in the Nov. 22 paper covering some of the Christmas tree vendors this year. You seemed to have left out those selling trees as fundraisers. There are at least three that have been doing it for several if not many years!

The volunteers that organize and sell the trees work very hard for the community and it would be appropriate if your article mentioned them, by name and location.

The one I am most familiar with is the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise. This will be the 13th year doing this project. We have been at the Lahaina Cannery Mall (thanks guys) for all 13 years.

Traditionally, we plan it so that we set up and start sales on Black Friday. We opened up on Black Friday again this year and have an added feature, a bake sale.
