Emergency staff need to focus on patients at hospital

A trip to the hospital by ambulance can be frighting, especially for elderly family members. And the experience in the ER are usually equally upsetting and sometimes risky.

It is not only because of the few nurses that are on duty that limits the services, but also for the frequency that nurses find it necessary to attend to the computer more than to the patient requiring emergency care.

I wish that nurses and doctors doing emergency care would place a priority on the sick patient and not on the computer. Elderly patients and persons of need require constant monitoring and qualified attention. The computer can wait; the patient goes to the ER because of a serious situation that requires professional attention.
