| | Local track and field Web siteApril 7, 2008 - Robert ColliasMy longtime buddy and former colleague, Rodney Yap, has created a Web site that provides a ton of information about MIL and state track and field information with one-stop shopping. The site leads with some stuff on the St. Anthony High School’s track and field team and some information about the school’s upcoming Blue & Gold Invitational meet April 18-19. Some of the world’s top sprinters will be here for the Runner’s Paradise 100-Meter Challenge and there will also be a free clinic on April 17 at 5 p.m. at Yamamoto Track & Field Facility inside War Memorial Stadium. Among the competitors is four-time world championship medalist Bruny Surin of Canada. Anyway, it is a cool Web site with a whole lot more track and field stuff. A great way to check out all of the happenings in 50th state track and field. For a guy who grew up in Eugene, Ore., the home of the 1972, '76 and '80 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials — and 2008 and 2012 coming up — it is a go-to site. Click the link above to check it out.
