Baldwin 3, Maui High 0Baldwin beat Maui High in the MIL Division I tournament final to force a playoff game for the overall title on Monday at 6 p.m. at Maehara Stadium. The Bears took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth on a 2-run homer by Brock Shishido. The inning was kept alive by an error, making both runs unearned.Baldwin added a run in the seventh for a 3-0 win, on a three-hitter by Shishido. A Sabers win Monday gives them their first MIL pennant since 1998. A Baldwin win gives them their 12th pennant in 17 years. Both teams will be at state next month. Baldwin will be the home team Monday night in a coin flip already performed.
