The Bald-Headed Truth

POSTED:Wed, April 30, 2008 @ 6:50PM

Sportsmanship apparently still exists

Never before had I ever heard a mention of NCAA Division II softball on SportsCenter, but this story made it last night.

It is simply an amazing story from a softball game in the Pacific Northwest between Central Washington and Western Oregon.

I’m not even going to try to go into the details, because there is no way I could do them justice.

Just let me say a couple things: If you had any worries about sports being bad for society, this story will ease those concerns; if you aren’t ready to be extremely touched and maybe a little choked up, don’t read this until you are.

I implore everybody to check out the link. It will restore your faith in our culture. Trust me.
