"Knuckle Princess" press conference called off

In the I-could-not-make-this-up-if-I-tried category, the press conference for Eri Yoshida — the 5-foot-1, 19-year-old knuckleball-throwin Japanese female pitcher nicknamed the "Knuckle Princess" — set for today has been canceled. Here is the press release written by the team and sent out through the County of Maui:
MEDIA ALERT!! ERI YOSHIDA PREE CONFERENCE POSTPONED!!
TO ALL PRESS AND INVITED GUESTS!!
THE PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR TODAY – AUGUST 2ND - AT THE ALE HOUSE IN KAHULUI - HAS BEEN POSTPONED!! THE REASON FOR THE POSTPONEMENT IS THAT ERI SUFFERED A NON-BASEBALL RELATED ANKLE INJURY ON SUNDAY AND IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING DAILY THERAPY UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF NA KOA IKAIKA MAUI HEAD TRAINER MARK STACK IN ORDER FOR HER TO MAKE HER SCHEDULED STARTS HERE IN MAUI. SHE ARRIVED IN MAUI YESTERDAY AND WILL BE AT THE GAME TONIGHT AGAINST EDMONTON.
