Restaurant Week Hawai‘i seeks partners
October 3, 2011 - Carla Tracy
Calling all restaurants on Maui! One of our island state’s most anticipated culinary events, Restaurant Week Hawai‘i, is looking for partners and sponsors for its fourth annual week-long dining extravaganza, set for Nov. 14 to 20.
It’s not only a fundraiser for the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, but it’s a seven-day celebration that encourages couples, families, friends and visitors to dine out and take advantage of special menu items, promotions and discounts.
“Restaurant Week Hawai‘i is a great opportunity for local restaurants to not only support the culinary community, but also to reach out to new customers and old friends alike,” says Culinary Institute of the Pacific Director Conrad Nonaka.
“Presented by KGMB-9, Restaurant Week Hawai‘i is open to restaurants of all sizes and types of cuisine, from fast food to fine dining – it’s really about being able to provide these restaurants the opportunity to showcase what they do best.”
Restaurants may choose from various sponsorship packages, each featuring a number of benefits depending upon the sponsorship level. Participating restaurants are asked to feature special menu items, promotions or discounts throughout the duration of the event.
So far on Maui, Cane & Taro in Kaanapali and Pineapple Grill in Kapalua have signed up. On Oahu, you may dine at Alan Wong’s, d.k Steak House, Nordstrom Marketplace Café, VINO, Stage Restaurant, hank’s haute dogs, and Morton’s The Steakhouse.
Restaurants can register online at Restaurant Week Hawaii Website. The deadline is Oct. 10. Corporate sponsorships are also available online. For further details, you may email Conrad Nonaka at email@example.com.
