Nebraska takes second set for 2-0 lead

March 24, 2012 - Robert Collias
The tall Huskers — seven players on the roster 6-2 of taller, foiur of those 6-4 or more — rolled to a 25-16 win in the second set.

Ginger Long got in late in the set but didn't have a chance to do much. Kalei Adolpho started the second set and stayed in for two points.

Gina Mancuso is playing big for the Huskers with 11 kills, Hannah Werth has seven kills, Pagie Hubl has 14 digs and Morgan Broekhuis has 8 block assists.

Emily Hartong continues to be the best option for UH with 10 kills, Jane Croson has six and Emily Maeda has seven digs.

It could be a short night for the Rainbow Wahine — they just called a timeout trailing 13-6 in the third, but Adolpho is back in.
