April 11, 2012 - Carla Tracy
Today The Melting Pot in Lahaina on Maui is celebrating the cheesiest day in America, also known as National Cheese Fondue Day.
Paying homage to melted fromage, The Melting Pot fondue restaurant franchise on today only will give away vouchers for free cheese fondue (no purchase necessary) to the first 25,000 people who sign up for The Melting Pot's Club Fondue at Free Fondue Website.
“We are known for our cheese fondues and just want to share that decadence with America as we leverage a nationally recognized day (April 11) to grow our email program’s database, introduce our brand to new guests and share the unique dining experience we offer,” said Cindy Haynes, senior vice president of marketing for Front Burner Brands, which is the restaurant management company for The Melting Pot, in a press release.
To receive this free cheese fondue incentive, Club Fondue sign-up entries are being accepted for a 24-hour period ONLY ending April 12 at 3:59 a.m. EDT. During this period, new members will receive a free cheese fondue voucher via email to be redeemed from April 16 – June 14, 2012 (some restrictions apply), the press release continues.
The cheese fondue course (serves two people) is valued around $16 per selection (prices vary by location). Reservations are required to redeem the offer.
