Maui's Tevita Finau signs free agent deal with Arizona

Well-traveled Mauian Tevita Finau signed a free agent contract with Arizona on Sunday after finishing strong at the University of Utah.

Finau was not a starter until the final four games of his career — he played in all 13 games as a senior — but he had 10 tackles and one for a loss in Utah's Sun Bowl win over Georgia Tech.

A Google search does not turn up any news for Baldwin graduate and UCLA center Kai Maiava, while former Lunas Kaniela Tuipulotu and Andrew Faaumu were not among the Hawaii players to get NFL calls.
