More scholarship offers for Baldwin's Fangatua, Hoiem
June 24, 2012 - Robert Collias
As I have said here before: Remember the name Jordan Hoiem.
The Baldwin linebacker is just beginning to receive scholarship offers — he will be in the Manti Teo stratosphere before it is all over, mark my words — and now add Utah and Utah State to the list. That makes three after he received an offer from Hawaii's Norm Chow earlier this spring. Oh yeah, Hoiem hasn't even started his junior season yet.
Check out this Hoiem tackle from the state semifinals last season against Punahou. It shows all you need to know about the 6-foot-5, 208-pounder.
Before he is done, unless he commits early, Hoiem will be north of 20 scholarship offers, no doubt in my mind.
Baldwin rising senior Miki Fangatua (6-0, 242, DT) also received an offer within the last few days, from Weber State. If this young man was a couple inches taller, the Division I schools would be knocking down his door at this point. He is a one-man wrecking crew.
