| | UNLV's Lotulelei, former Baldwin standout, invited to NFL combineFebruary 7, 2013 - Robert ColliasBaldwin graduate John Lotulelei, who recently finished his career as a standout linebacker at UNLV, has been invited to the NFL Combine. Lotulelei has climbed up from the depths of not being eligible for NCAA Division I football out of Baldwin to being a first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection in 2012 when he had 120 tackles. He was also on the Butkus list for the nation's best linebacker and was named a team captain for the Rebels in 2012. The bulk of invitees to the NFL Combine get drafted, which would make Lotulelei just the second player from the MIL ever to have that happen, joining Baldwin and USC standout Kaluka Maiava, selected in the fourth round by the Cleveland Browns in 2009.
