| | Maui's Lotulelei ties for 6th with 25 bench press reps, 40 time fourth from lastFebruary 25, 2013 - Robert ColliasResults were mixed over the last couple days for Mauian John Lotulelei at the NFL Draft Combine. On Sunday, the former Baldwin and UNLV standout pushed the 225-pound bench press 25 times, which tied for sixth among linebackers. Watch the video in this link until the end (it's 2 minutes, 20 seconds) where Lotulelei is on the list of top performers. He was faster than only four other LBs today with his 4.84-second time in the 40-yard dash, slower than Notre Dame's Manti Te'o, the Heisman runner-up out of Punahou. Lotulelei had solid marks of 35.5 inches in the vertical leap and 6.91 seconds in the three-cone drill. A very cool link here runs down all of his marks — and gives analysis for the projected fifth-round pick — although that mug shot is of Utah's Star Lotulelei, who is no relation to John.
