Seabury Hall seeded No. 2 for D-II state boys volleyball

May 7, 2013 - Robert Collias
It took until today for the brackets to be revealed, but MIL champion Seabury Hall is seeded second behind prohibitive favorite Hawaii Baptist Academy in the Division II New City Nissan Boys Volleyball Championships.

The Spartans open with Waialua on Thursday and a win would send them to a possible semifinal showdown with No. 3 Pahoa, whom Seabury Hall beat in 2010 for the first state volleyball crown ever won by an MIL team.

If the Spartans make their fourth straight state final, they will most likely face HBA, whose string of four state titles in five years is interrupted only by the Spartans' 2010 crown.

The Eagles are loaded and tall, the Spartans are tested, but banged up.
