Isagawa shoots 70 today, on cusp of top 10 at NCAA golf
May 23, 2013 - Robert Collias
After standing in a tie for 64th with a first-round 75, Baldwin graduate Cassy Isagawa has jumped up 50 places at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships at the University of Georgia Golf Course in two days.
Isagawa is back to even-par 216 after a 2-under 70 today and currently stands in a tie for 14th — one shot away from the top 10 — with a lot of golfers still playing.
Isagawa's Oregon team is currently 18th at 29-over 893 despite an eagle 2 on the par-4 15th hole by Hanule Sky Seo, who had an ace on Wednesday.
Isagawa, a first-team All-American last season as a freshman, finishes her first trip to the NCAA tournament on Friday.
