Cyr shoots final-round 76, finishes tied for 33rd
June 23, 2013 - Robert Collias
At one point when I looked early in the final round of the Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters, Maui's Sam Cyr was tied for eighth.
That, unfortuantely, didn't last for the 2005 King kekaulike graduate, who shot 76 on the final day and finished in a tie for 33rd.
Cyr had a triple bogey 6 on the 14th and followed that with a bogey on 15 to finish at 4-over 288. If he had stayed at 2 under where he once was, he would have tied for 11th.
Still, he made nearly $3,000 and moved up four spots to 80th on the Asian Tour Order of Merit with $17,001.43 for the season.
