Restating the Obvious
POSTED:Wed, August 27, 2008 @ 7:00PM
That's not a mosqueBlog Links» The tent from IranThe pictures really are funny when they're not pathetic. Zombie usually doesn't add much text, which probably is just as well, because she's in Denver, taking pictures and, this time, writing. Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs is feeding her "reports" out to one of the biggest blogiences in cyberspace. Prominent pixels are devoted to the effrontery of some group of Iranians who erected a mosque in a public park near the Democratic convention center. Except it's not a mosque. It's a tent. (And if it were a mosque, so what?) I went through the first few score comments, and the Football team doesn't seem to know the difference, either. Johnson is quick to jump on gaffes by other people, especially left-handed ones -- he's the guy who skewered Dan Rather's fake Bush documents -- but it's been over a day now and he's still calling it a mosque. Just thought I'd mention it, since nobody else has.
