Heading to the Big Island? It's 'oyster time!'

Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel's Coast Grille restaurant is making a splash by bringing back its famous Oyster Bar.

“It features the freshest seafood including seasonal oysters with your choice of tempting sauces on the half shell or as a shooter,“ says publicist Dara Lum. “It's the only oyster bar on Hawaii's Big Island, so check it out!”

Dive into the Pacific Northwest oyster on the half shell with lilikoi mignonette, rock salt and garden lemon, pictured in this blog. Or opt for the Thai shooters with lemongrass, sweet pineapple, Thai chili and house-infused kaffir-lime vodka; or the sake shooter with sake, ponzu, ume juice and shiso leaves.

Coast Grille is open for dinner Sundays through Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. For reservations or more information, call (808) 880.1111.
