Maui County Data Book available
KIHEI – The 2007 edition of the Maui County Data Book, a statistical reference on population, government, education, geography, land use and related economic and social data, has been released, the Hawai‘i Business Research Library has announced.
The library is part of the Hawai‘i Small Business Development Center Network. The Data Book is produced in collaboration with the Maui County Office of Economic Development.
The Data Book is available online at www.hbrl-sbdc.org. Paper copies are available for $20 from the Business Research Library in the Maui Research & Technology Park, 590 Lipoa Parkway, Suite 136, Kihei; the county Business Resource Center at the Maui Mall; or Borders Books Music Movies & Cafe at the Maui Marketplace.

Visitor count falls in March
HONOLULU -- Maui County welcomed 228,644 visitors in March, a decrease of 2.9 percent from the same month in 2007.
The entire state, except Lanai, saw a decline compared with March 2007, although Oahu was down only 0.9 percent.
