As connoisseurs well know, Miljenko “Mike” Grgich is a legend in the industry. He’s the original winemaker for Robert Mondavi and he set the French world on its ear in the 1976 Paris blind tasting, when his chardonnay won over all French entries.

Feb. 8, his daughter Violetta Grgich will be on hand for the dinner, which will begin with ahi tartare with lemon relish and American caviar, seafood ravioli three ways, and butter-poached fresh catch with baby fennel. Grgich wines will flow.
