• PERSONAL: 18; daughter of Chad and Linda Meyer of Pukalani and Hana; enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, going to the beach with friends, being in Hana.

• AT SCHOOL: Activities Committee, Relay For Life.

• OFF CAMPUS: Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club.

• BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL: Attend a college on the East Coast to study sports management or athletic training.

• WHO IS YOUR PERSONAL HERO AND WHY?

“My personal hero is my mom. She is my rock and the person who keeps me in line. She has shaped me into the motivated and confident young woman that I am today. Her words drive me towards success and her attitude is always helpful. She always wants me to be at my best and to never give up on my dreams. She is a dedicated mom and she sacrifices everything for me to make me happy and excel in life.”
