WAILUKU — A 24-year-old homeless man was arrested early Wednesday after he was caught with property taken in a burglary at a Wailuku hostel, police said.
Theodore Porter was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail after being charged with first-degree burglary. He was also being held on a no-bail warrant from Washington state, police said.
Porter was arrested at 12:08 a.m. after he was seen standing next to a unit that had been burglarized at the Northshore Inn on Vineyard Street, police said.
