Doherty, who won the women’s open and junior women’s division at the Hookipa Surfing Challenge Neil Pryde Maui on May 4, earned first-place finishes Saturday in the same two divisions. She finished ahead of Melissa Proud in the women’s open, and beat out Kulia Doherty in the junior women’s division.
Matt Meola won the men’s open division, finishing ahead of Dege O’Connell and Kea Esprillo. J.B Falbo won the open longboard category and Billy Kemper won the junior men’s division.
Dylan Walsh took first place in open boys and Kain Daly won the boys 12-14 division.
Ian Gentil took first in the menehune division.
