Imua given $10,000 grant

WAILUKU — The Rev. Takie Okumura Family Fund recently granted Imua Family Services $10,000 to support therapeutic services for children with special needs and their families as part of the Early Childhood Development Program.

The Okumura fund is dedicated to assisting organizations providing programs to families with special-needs children.

Imua Family Service’s Early Childhood Development Program is a three-year pilot project offering therapeutic intervention services for children ages 3 to 5 who don’t meet the appropriate development milestones.
