TUCSON, Ariz. - Terri Lynn Stadler and John Wayne Baker are engaged to be married on Nov. 2, 2008, with the ceremony and reception planned for the Z-Mansion in Tucson.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donald and Kathleen Stadler of Loveland, Colo. Graduating from Thompson Valley High School in 1999, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree in microbiology from Colorado State University in 2005. Stadler moved to Tucson in 2007 and now works in a research laboratory at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, specializing in women's cancer studies.
The groom-to-be is the son of James and Catherine Baker of Haiku. He graduated from King Kekaulike High School in 2000 and the Air Force Academy in 2004, majoring in psychology. He is an Air Force pilot and currently flies the EC-130H Compass Call, a turboprop tactical weapon system.
