PORTLAND, Ore. - Erica Danielle Lee of Eugene, Ore., and Gilbert "Michael" Herrera, son of Andy and Jane Herrera of Makawao, are engaged to be married June 13, 2009, in Portland, Ore.
The groom-to-be is a 1997 Maui High School graduate who served in the Air National Guard. He is now a lead robotics technician for Synetics Solutions in Portland.
His fiancee, the daughter of Richard and Susan Lee of Eugene, earned a degree at the Art Institute of Portland and works as a visual display stylist with Macy's Northwest.
