FREE SCREENING OF OBAMA FILM OFFERED

KAANAPALI - The West Maui Democratic Club will host a screening of the film "Senator Obama Goes to Africa" on Thursday.

The free event is to start at 7 p.m. in the Kapalua Room of the Sheraton Maui Resort. State Sen. Roz Baker, who represents South and West Maui, and West Maui Rep. Angus McKelvey are hosting the event and will be available to talk after the showing.

The film features U.S. Sen. Barrack Obama's trip to Darfur and South Africa in 2006, as well as his visit to his father's village in Kenya.

Parking is $1 with validation.
