Expereince the Orient in Maui, with cultural entertainment, crafts and produce during Journeys to the Orient. Maui Taiko Group will open the festivities at 11 a.m., followed by Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko at noon, Nakayama Minyo Kai at 1 p.m. and Zenshin Daiko at 2 p.m.

Benoit JazzWorks will add some flavor to this month's free summer concert series. Members Angela and Phil Benoit have been married for 21 years and have been playing jazz professionally and making records since 1997. Maui girl Angela is known for her smooth and sultry voice and captivating live performances. Phil, who is the younger brother of jazz pianist David Benoit, has been studying and playing jazz guitar for the last decade after paying mostly blues and rock. Phil also performs as the rhythm guitarist for Gypsy Pacific. The event will also include drawings for free gas and prizes.
