Oh swell, it’s washing out

A pair of Kihei roommates, Greg Brady (left) and Reed Egge, check out the wave conditions at Waiehu Beach Park before heading into the water last week. The pair drove over in the hopes of finding surf and getting a wind-chopped swell generated by a storm off the West Coast. “The waves are big and sloppy,” Brady said.
