Aug. 28 the students in kindergarten through 5th grade at Emmanuel Lutheran School had the opportunity to watch "Farlington Rabbit," an original musical play presented by Heart Tours. The play was written by Tom Althouse with music composed by Pat Brown.
The set and costumes were simple and yet beautifully crafted. Our students absolutely loved the characters and the catchy music. The play is humorous and yet presents an important message about friendship and honesty.
After the play the cast answered questions with great patience from the many children who wanted to share their thoughts or to simply touch the costumes still on the actors and props. Before the performance, Heart Tours made quality education packets available for all the grades which were very helpful in preparing for the play.
We would like to share the news about this live theater opportunity with the rest of Maui. For those of you who work with children, it is well worth it to invite "Farlington Rabbit" to visit you too!
