LAHAINA - A workshop on "Starting a Venture in Hawaii," an overview of issues and needs for beginning a business, will be offered by the Hawaii Small Business Development Center on Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lahaina Education Center.
The class is geared both to a novice thinking of starting a business venture and to experienced entrepreneurs thinking of launching a new product or service.
It is taught by Maui SBDC Director David Fisher, who has been assisting with small businesses on Maui for 16 years.
The class fee is $23 and includes a sample business plan and the booklet "Starting A Business on Maui."
