Peace Peeps members Keohu Bannister (from left), 13, Tia Holyoak, 9, and Maile Sur, 11, cheer for drivers responding to their sign-waving rally against domestic violence along Kaahumanu Avenue at the Maui Mall on Thursday afternoon. The girls were among around 50 participants in the rally in observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness month and to remind the public of the seven murders in domestic cases in Hawaii this year. The rally was followed by a vigil held in the mall.
