WAILUKU - MEO Business Development Corp. has scheduled its last series of classes in 2008 for entrepreneurs.
The Core Four business planning classes cover how to set goals, do market research, determine pricing, make the sale, understand and create cash-flow projections and write a business plan. Susie Thieman, who has more than 30 years of experience in starting and managing small business, serves as the primary instructor.
A free introductory class will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Oct. 28 and will be repeated at the same time Oct. 30.
The six-week series of classes is to begin Nov. 6, and continue from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 11.
Registration is required for the six-week series. There is a $275 fee for the classes, but financial assistance is available through grants from the county Office of Economic Development, the state Office of Community Service and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
