WAILUKU - County, state and federal offices, public libraries and schools will be closed Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day.
The Waiehu Golf Course and county pools will be open for regular hours, except the Sakamoto Pool, which is closed for repairs.
Trash collection will follow a normal schedule, except on Lanai, where residents with Tuesday pickups will receive service on Wednesday.
The Hana, Lanai and Molokai landfills will be closed. The Central Maui Landfill and the Olowalu Recycling and Refuse Convenience Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery in Maui County.
The Maui News will be open during normal business hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
