Drifting around the yard

Taking in views of Iao Valley and the Pacific Ocean recently, Gina Rodrigues enjoys the family pool with daughter Justice, 8, in Wailuku. Rodrigues said it feels great to lie back and watch the cloud formations float over the valley. “The kids use it every day, but I don’t get it until the weekend,” she said. “We love the beach, but it’s nice to just come out in your own yard.”
