Toys collected at Kimo’s

December 7, 2008
The Maui News

LAHAINA - Kimo's will collect toys for Imua Family Services through Saturday.

Guests to the Lahaina restaurant are invited to bring with them an unwrapped children's gift valued between $10 and $20, which will go to a needy child this holiday season. This is the fifth year that Kimo's has organized a toy drive.

"It's a big tradition at Kimo's to give back to the community during Christmas," said Jack Starr, assistant general manager at Kimo's. "We want to see the families that are less fortunate have a great holiday, and, through the toy drive, our employees and supportive patrons will help make that happen."

Imua Family Services helps children with special needs during the earliest years of their lives, and serves more than 2,300 children and their families annually on Maui and Lanai.

Kimo's is located at 845 Front St. For more information, call 661-4811 or see Web site www.kimosmaui.
