KAHULUI - Edith and Kenneth Kong celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children and their families and friends at the Fremont Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The golden gathering was held in the casino's Silver Room on Nov. 29, 50 years to the day after the couple exchanged vows at Christ the King Church in Kahului, with the Rev. Joseph Putman officiating.

The Kongs renewed their vows last year with the Rev. Efren Tomas.
