Students sweet on science at Engineering Fair

The 50th annual Maui Schools Science and Engineering Fair was held Thursday at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku.

The Junior Division was won by Kihei Charter School 7th-grader Celina Bekins for her project, "Using Algae as Fuel."

Baldwin High School sophomores Terah Summers and Serena Perry took top honors in the Senior Division with "Three Fish, Two Fish, One Fish, No Fish!"
