DOG SHOW ENTRIES DUE SOON; CLASSES OFFERED
WAILUKU - Entries are due by noon April 8 for the Valley Isle Kennel Club of Maui's All-Breed Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trial.
The event will be held April 25-26 on the War Memorial soccer field in Wailuku.
Before then, Sunday morning handling classes will be offered.

KIHEI CHARTER SCHOOL TO HOST INTERESTED FAMILIES
KIHEI - Families interested in enrolling a student in Kihei Public Charter School for the 2009-10 year should attend one of two information sessions scheduled this month: April 8 at 4:30 p.m. or April 14 at 7 p.m.
Each session will last about 90 minutes and will be held at Kihei Charter High School, 300 Ohukai Road, No. 209 (the former Hope Chapel site in the Kihei Commercial Center).
Kihei Charter serves children in kindergarten through high school. The informational meetings are part of the process of accepting applications and determining enrollment for the next academic year.

LAND TRUST DIRECTOR IS KIWANIS GUEST SPEAKER
KAHULUI - Maui Coastal Land Trust Executive Director Dale Bonar will be the speaker for the Kiwanis Club of Maui's weekly meeting Thursday.
The public is invited to the meeting, which is at noon at Cary & Eddie's Hideaway restaurant, at the Kahului Harbor end of Puunene Avenue.
An optional buffet costs $11. No reservations are needed.
