Richard Okuda Jr. of Wailuku receives congratulations from six-time champion Denis Valente of Haiku after completing the finals of the Slim's Power Tools 16th Annual He-Man Competition on Saturday afternoon in Kahului.

Okuda went on to take first place in the event for the third time.

"All the competitors are real good," he said.

Okuda won a $1,000 Slim's Power Tools shopping spree in addition to a trip to Las Vegas.
