OLOWALU - Rachel Mallon and Ryan Follett were married at the Olowalu Plantation House on April 18, 2009, with Brad Salter officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Anna Jackson of Kahana and Kent Mallon of San Francisco. She is a graduate of Lahainaluna High School and attended Maui Community College. She moved to Oregon and earned a bachelor's degree in interior design at the Art Institute of Portland.
The bride currently owns Ironwood Design Studio, doing Web design, logos and interior design.

The groom is the son of Gerry Follett and Jan Gustafson, both of Oregon. He graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in English. He is the fleet supervisor at Skyline Eco-Adventures.
The bridal party included maid of honor Angela Scaletta, cousin of the bride from California; and bridesmaids Meagan Follett, sister of the groom, and Desia Graybill, a classmate of the bride at the Art Institute.
The best man was Brenden Addis, friend of the groom, and the groomsmen were Bryan Axtell and Frank Jimenez, co-workers of the groom.
The flower girl was Alexandra Mallon, the bride's sister.
The couple had their honeymoon in Ireland and will reside in Napili.
